I met the war thrice: in 1941, when I was 8, in 2022, when I was 88, and now on October 7, 2023.

Today I'm 90 years old I am pleased to invite you to my first solo exhibition in Tel Aviv, which was initially scheduled to open in October.

"Souls on Fire" is 40 paintings that I brought from the war-torn Ukraine to the Israel, where war had also broken out. This is the fire glowing in Jewish souls, from the school teacher to the spiritual leaders of a generation. But this is also the fire in which souls were burned. A fire that gives life and a fire that brings death. We all have this fire and it is only up to us how we choose to use it.
